Black History Through Artistry

Black History Through Artistry

This past spring, WBCA was fortunate to exhibit the show, Healing the Breach, featuring the nationally known Black Twin Cities artists of AHHA! Join AHHA! artists again this summer, along with historian Jim Stewart, in conversation about their artwork and its power to promote interracial understanding and activism. There will be four hour-long sessions, each featuring a different AHHA! artist. In preparation for these sessions, you are encouraged to take a look at the art of AHHA! on their website, in addition to hearing the words of Jim Stewart. Feel free to come to as many sessions as you would like and be a part of the change! Go to WhiteBearArts.org/exhibitions to view the online show and for a list of website resources.
